Dr. Namin attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Health and Science Chicago Medical School, and the American University School of Medicine.  He received his Master’s Degree in medical sciences and his medical degree in 1995.  He then joined a research fellowship program at the University of Illinois, Division of Hematology and Oncology.

In 1998 he moved to Kansas City, where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Kansas University Medical Center.  He has done extensive research and is published in areas of functional bowel and motility disorders.  He joined Dr. Greg Vardakis in August 2006.
